Party in the Art Room TpT Launch

Guess what?

Chicken squat!

Just kidding! That is a joke in Mississippi. My daddy and his brothers used to pull that one on me all the time when I was a little girl. I choose not to speculate here about what that might mean! (Meh, I think I'm funny!)

But for real though! I have a little announcement to make.

I started a Teachers Pay Teachers store earlier this year at the urging of a friend/colleague. I just tested the waters for several months but have decided to take it a little more seriously. I really enjoy creating visual art and arts integration resources. I have a vision for what the arts in education should be about, and I want to move forward with both sharing and implementing it on as large a scale as possible.  So, I have honed in a bit on my vision for this project and am soft-launching this week. Then, there will be a CYBER SALE on November 28 and 29! You should really check that out or, like, share this post so your friends and social media strangers can check it out!

So far, I have some ELA and Math lessons using Kandinsky. There's a pretty extensive presentation on Modigliani portraits and a The Snowy Day lesson based on the Ezra Jack Keats book. My favorite lesson is the Vincent van Gogh Flowers presentation. That one is pretty straight visual art, but I would be happy to help you integrate some ELA or Math. All you have to do is ask. That leads me to another point I wanted to mention. I am starting to branch out with my consulting services. I hope you'll follow along for that ride as well as follow my TpT store. More info to come in later posts. More resources coming to the store as fast as I can upload them.

This is all very exciting for me! However, this is totally about learning as I go. So, be kind with your constructive feedback.

Click any of the links in this post to be taken to the store. Look for aesthetic improvements to the blog and more blog posts about my resources, endeavors, learnings, and anything else artsy/educational that I can come up with! All this excitement COMING SOON!

Thank you, friends!
